Curry has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1987. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in federal and state courts throughout Texas. He has tried over 200 cases to jury verdict, including healthcare liability, professional liability, trucking, industrial, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation. 

Curry is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer every year since the inception of that designation in 2003. He served on the State Bar Rules Committee from 1997 to 2003.  

Curry enjoys several long-term client relationships that were developed by keeping constant focus on client needs. His experience and expertise facilitate an efficiency in the handling of legal matters that produces favorable results at reasonable costs. 

He has been active as a board member in the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Inc. and is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and is a member of The Woodlands Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He attended the University of Texas at El Paso and received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lamar University in 1978. Curry graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1982, where he was an editor of the Texas Tech Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif

Apollo Emergency Physicians v. Iasis Healthcare Corporation, 13th Court of Appeals 2011, evidence of future damages for tortious interference with a past contract does not equate to tortious interference with a future contract.
